As our bond become stronger year after year the organisation dreamt of building the auspicious temple of “SHREE JALARAM BAPA” which would symbolize the spirit of Gujaratis living in Balangir. But the accomplishment of this dream was not easy. But there is a saying where there is a will there is a way. And this will power helped us achieve that and the main reason we were able to overcome all the odds and achieve was Late Shri Velji Bhai Bhinde (the then Secretary of Gujarati Samaj for more than 25 years) who lead us from every aspects. He was so much devoted to this dream that he himself travelled a lot for generating funds for the temple and he himself went with other members to Rajasthan to place idol of “SHREE JALARAM BAPA”. And his unprecedented determination and effort as well as continuous help and support from all we were able to cherish our dream.

On 9th April, 2003 the most auspicious and memorable day i.e SHREE RAM NAVAMI, the pran- pratistha mahotsav of “SHREE JALARAM MANDIR” was done under the guidance of Sashtri Shree Pradeep Bhai D.Vyas and the then committee members alongwith all the members, which added a new chapter in Gujarati Samaj.
